Vermilion County State's Attorney FOIA

7 N. Vermilion Street, Suite 201
Danville, IL 61832
217-554-7750
SAfoia@vercounty.org
Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The State's Attorney is a separate custodian. Do not route sheriff jail records or Circuit Clerk court-file requests there merely because the prosecution participated. Illinois FOIA generally allows five business days for a noncommercial response, with a statutory extension in specified cases. The first fifty letter or legal black-and-white pages are generally free, later pages are capped at $0.15 each, and electronic-medium charges generally reflect actual cost. Confirm court copy, certification, and special-format fees with the Clerk.
